Lisa A. Pounders, MA
Psychological & Creative Mentor, Jungian Scholar, Instructor, Artist, and Writer
I have walked many roads. I’ve been a visual artist for nearly twenty years, working primarily in two-dimensional media—painting, drawing, and collage. I also write poetry as well as publish creative and academic articles. In the past I have worked as a computer programmer, technical and freelance writer, manager, and waitress. Currently I instruct at the graduate level and offer psychological mentoring (therapeutic guidance and support) sessions for individuals. My desire to learn, explore, and create has meant that my life has taken unusual and provocative turns. My education consists of a BS in Computer Science, an MA in humanities with emphasis in psychology, and I am a PhD candidate in psychology specializing in Jungian and archetypal studies. This is all to say that I value the road less traveled and yet also understand the need to to approach life practically.
